International Day: We will "study" a selected country, do a craft, flag, etc. The actual day we will 'travel' to other classrooms for various activities.

Teddy Bear Days/Mickey Mouse Days: The children bring in their favorite bear or stuffed animal. Special art projects are created and a special snack is prepared for these days.
Beach Days: We are going to the beach at school! The children wear their bathing suits, shorts, sandals, etc. as we travel to other classrooms for fun in the sun activities. Typically held in the winter months.
Mother's Day Program: Mom is invited for a very special day of activities.
Father's Saturday: Dad is invited to come and share the day's activities.

Birthdays - Birthdays are celebrated in the classroom. The children receive a crown and the children sing Happy Birthday. If you wish to send in a snack, it will be shared with the class. Summer birthdays are also celebrated at the end of the school year.

Conferences: Held in October and March. They are 15 minutes long. It's a chance for us to catch up on how well your child is doing and for you to voice any concerns you may have about your child's progress.
