THREE YEAR OLD PROGRAM

The goal of the three year old program is to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for your child and to develop important social skills.

    DAILY ACTIVITIES
Free Play: Before class and any time after activities are finished. Different toys, puzzles, books and games are set out and children are encouraged to play together during this time.

  Math:
Counting, Recognizing numbers 1 to 5 (10) Sequencing, Ordering More and Less

  Art:
Art projects are centered on the alphabet letter of the week. Theme-related artwork is also done throughout the year. All types of art mediums are used - paints, crayons, markers, glue, scissors (teacher monitored), etc. Children are encouraged to be creative and express individuality through their artwork. Art projects are sent home daily.  Some projects are first displayed in the classroom

    Circle Time:
We discuss the weather, letter of the week, colors, shapes, and counting. Conversation is encouraged and songs are learned. Math concepts are introduced and discussed. Some classes provide a Sharing Bag for the children to bring in a personal item to show their classmates at this time.
